At Italiks, submissions are always open, and we welcome all genres from all writers - at no cost. To keep submissions free, we don't use third-party submission services. Instead, we ask writers to follow the guidelines outlined on our Submissions page.

We currently pay $5 per accepted story. While we don't impose strict word count limits, we ask that submissions stay under 5,000 words due to our limited time and resources.

Prefer non-fiction, poetry, art, or other media? We accept all creative work! Visit our About page for more information. 

We also embrace digital storytelling. All published stories are featured on our YouTube channel, with full author recognition. If your work is accepted, we encourage you to narrate your own piece for our audience. This is how literature stays relevant in the evolving digital landscape.

We operate at a loss, and are willing to do so, but if costs become too high, we may not be sustainable. Please consider donating on our Support Us page.
